Children's programme (2) - Gura Raului

The next programme for the children was held in this gypsy town called Gura Raului. We were to conduct a 3 day programme there.

To get to the place, we had to park in the town and walk in.

The place was simple but nice. We had grape vines and apple trees providing shade. A pig and cow shed were just behind us!

On the first day, Shannon and David were still around and they did their stuffs again.

On the next day, we were a little worried as we had no clowns, no balloons and no magic tricks. But we still had a good time.

On the last day, the temperature dropped at least 20 degrees (from mid 30s to around 12 degrees - the pic below was taken later in the day when it went up to 16 degrees) and it was raining.

So we were all wrapped up and had the session indoors instead. At the end of the session, one of the kids came up and gave us a farewell speech.

Prayer points:-

1. Pray for Kasiana - she's just been recently diagnosed with cancer.

2. Pray for the kids. In spite of what we had heard about gypsies, they were generally very well behaved, respectful and quite knowledgeable in God’s word. So poor and deprived, yet so much potential, so much life.

3. Pray that God will raise workers for this ministry at Gura Raului.
