Outings (2) - Medias

Medias is around 2 hours drive away from Talmaciu. It is a beautiful place but we were there only for the evening. After the service at the local brethren assembly there, one of the leaders - who is also the choir master and the translator - invited us for dinner.

Augustine specially refurbished a house which he uses to entertain guests and show hospitality. We had a great time - the food was excellent and Augustine and his wife were wonderful hosts.


Directly opposite the house was this bookshop run by Augustine and his wife. The rest went there to shop for gifts while Augustine took me to the back to check out the printing presses and the binding machines - much better than the ones at GLO but he is doing it as a business.


Medias is a beautiful and historical place. Too bad we were only there for the evening - but thanks to our wonderful hosts, it was a brilliant and memorable one.
